Blogger of the week – NOAH!

Welcome to my blog, my name is Noah.

Today is Monday and we are working on our structures.  Here are some of the examples of our structures:

Now we are working on our Hebrew project.

Today we are doing gym class. We are playing a soccer game.

This is a French class. My friend Tobey helped take these pictures.

Here we are in English reading our novel study book The BFG.

Here are some videoes of our Tefillah:

Thank you for reading. Please leave some comments and tell me what me and my friends can do next.

Winter Fun Day!

Good morning Grade 3 parents and students!

Our exciting Winter Fun Day is quickly approaching and before we can fully immerse ourselves in the wonder of snow and ice… We need consent forms filled and returned. I have printed paper copies for those who have not handed back in and extended the return date to Friday, February 7th, 2020. These copies will be coming home tonight.

As mentioned in a recent email you can indicate on the form whether your child wishes to partake in skating or tobogganing so we can allocate appropriate numbers of staff to each activity.

Regardless of the activity,  helmets MUST be worn.

Thank you for your continued support,

Miss M

General Studies homework December 4th 2019

Good Morning Grade 3 and Grade 3 parents,

This week you have two options:

Math – beginning our measurement unit with looking into centimetres. (Thanks to Nelson Mathematics for being a great resource!)

Language Arts – using description to improve creative writing. Use the attached worksheet as a guide and read the task sheet to improve the boring sentences to create winderfully descriptive sentences. (Thanks to Nelson Literacy for super helpful guides to creative writing!)

As always, the requirement is to complete one piece of homework (you can complete more if you wish) and students will have the opportunity to select hard copies of all the above resources.  Any questions, please let me know.
