We had a busy week in Kitah Gimmel! We spent time practising the new prayers we learned and started presenting our “Mi Ani” “Who am I” projects to the class.
Shabbat Shalom!
This week Kitah Gimmel played a Kahoot game to review what we have learned from our Chumash class, parashat Vayeira. A few students have also volunteered to practise a new Tefilla for Rosh Chodesh that we are learning, and will be reviewing the tefilla with the rest of the class in the coming weeks.
Shabbat Shalom!
This week Kitah Gimmel has been excitedly working on a new project called “Mi Ani” (who am I?). Each student was tasked with learning new information about a fellow classmate (each student was given a list of questions in Ivrit), without them figuring out who is writing about them! Kitah Gimmel is excited to present their projects to the class, and seeing whether their classmates can figure out who they wrote about!
Kitah Gimmel ended the week by learning about Parashat Veyechi- Birkat Habanim (blessing of the children). We enjoy sitting on the carpet and listening to the story in Ivrit.
Yesterday Kitah Gimmel visited the residents of Hillel Lodge to bake cookies and sing Hanukkah songs. It was a pleasure to see our class working together with the residents, and we all had so much fun!

How many sons did Matityahu the Cohen have? What were their names?
Today Kitah Gimmel had the chance to play the games they have been working so hard on. We had fun playing each others games and practising the verbs that we have learned!
This week we are learning new things about our friends. Students were tasked with asking each other questions in Hebrew to learn something they don’t know about another student in the class. Some topics we discussed include: favourite food, hobbies, favourite animals, and favourite books.
This week we had fun creating games with the new Hebrew vocabulary that we have been learning. The games are fun and creative and everyone enjoyed preparing them!
