My name is Sigal Baray and I am the third grade Judaics and Hebrew teacher. I am looking forward to teaching the students and got to know many of them last year.
I was born in Haifa, Israel but have been living in Canada for many years. Most of my family still lives in Israel, and I love that I am able to visit them almost every year. I have been teaching for more than twenty years in various settings and worked as a teacher for the government teaching Hebrew to diplomats before their deployment to Israel.
I am the mother of three amazing children (two of which are graduates of OJCS!) My favourite day of the week is Friday because Shabbat brings my whole family together for dinner. I love to bake and cook and am always trying to learn new recipes that I see on Israeli cooking shows.
